• Covering classes when teaching staff are absent
• Taking attendance within the first 5 minutes of each class period
• Monitoring the eHallpass system when students request to leave the classroom
• Ensuring that the teacher's lesson plan is followed and students are working on their given assignments
• Following all school policies and procedures in the staff and student handbook
• Covering additional duties assigned by the administration (hall monitor, lunch, after school, etc.

Candidate should currently hold, or be able to obtain, a substitute teacher certification from Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW).
